Finishing That Novel

So you had an idea for a book, got started with it, and somewhere along the writing or editing processes… just stopped. There are plenty of things to get in the way–life, writers’ block, or even other ideas for other stories! How can you get back into it?

There’s a big difference between a wannabe novelist and an actual novelist, and it’s not just writing. It’s finishing. Getting the rough draft out and then revising it until your sick of it, and then getting another draft out. Etc. Wannabe novelists have ideas and start getting them down, but it’s only the actual novelists who ever get anything done. And they are the ones with the recognition, credit and fame.

Maybe you’re visiting this site for inspiration, or maybe you want actual tools to help and programs to join to help you cross that finish line. Maybe you just need to know that you’re not alone in this battle, and that there is a way out of the mess you’ve put yourself into. Well, you’re in luck. Grab a cup of coffee (or tea!), pull up your word document and let’s get writing!
