About Me

Author PictureHello! I’m Amanda Clemmer, and writing lengthier fiction has been a passion of mine for most of my life. I graduated with a degree in English Literature and Writing from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul in 2012, and immediately afterward became a writer/contributor (and later managing editor) of Comicbooked.com.

After getting engaged in 2013 and moving halfway across the country, I decided to take my fiction writing more seriously. I left my position at Comic Booked to focus on my more immediate projects and wedding planning. In that time I realized that I had several different fiction projects that I was working on, but I needed to find ways to motivate myself to finish them, edit them, and make them shine!

Here at Finish That Novel, I’m sharing novelling tips and tricks, inspiration, and helpful resources that I hope will help you on your own journey to authorhood. Feel free to let me know if you have questions or ideas or some inspiration of your own to share, and I look forward to reading it!

  1. Hello! My name is Alex and I stumbled upon your site while doing a quick Google search. Before I get into this, I would like to complement your site on the theme that is currently has, simple yet stylish. Back on topic, I really love the posts and the quality of them, most of the sites that write about the same things that you do are very repetitive and boring. I enjoy reading your posts, keep it up. Guess that’s all I’ll be posting, also, feel free to check out my sons site if you have time (I’m still working on mine, not the smartest in tech haha :P) free dj software or if that doesn’t show up, http://free-dj-software.blogspot.com Keep on blogging! -Alex S.

Whenever I look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in IE,
it’s got some overlapping issues. I merely
wanted to give you a quick heads up! Apart from that,
    wonderful website!
